Jeff Lau has over a decade of experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Product Management for a wide variety of companies in the high-technology and financial services industries. Jeff’s background allows him to understand the customer from a comprehensive viewpoint, from needs analysis and product requirements to customer behavior and integrated marketing programs.
Prior to joining 3SIXO Advisors, Jeff headed Marketing and Business Development efforts for Informative Research, a nationwide mortgage credit reporting agency. His responsibilities included developing the strategic sales and marketing plan, evaluating and implementing new technologies and services, driving initiatives through a channel of over 100 affiliate credit reporting agencies, and managing the company’s customer survey and scorecard process.
As a product manager for Quest Software, Jeff was responsible for product development and sales support for an enterprise software application. Additionally, Jeff held a variety of positions within the Marketing and Marketing Communications departments at Ingram Micro, the world's largest IT distributor, where he developed channel marketing programs that generated in excess of $10 million in annual co-op and MDF funds.
Jeff graduated cum laude from UC San Diego with a BA in Communications and he holds an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine. He has been published in several trade journals and mortgage industry publications, and is actively involved in ministry and missions projects for his church.
